- Triple Glazed Windows
- Nilan Exhaust Air to Air Passive Heat Recovery System linked to wood burning stove.

Currently this House is under construction in Barna, Co. Galway
Area 3,100 square foot
This Low Energy Home will consist of the following;
- Supergrund Insulated Foundation System U-Value 0.10w/sqk 300mm thick insulation
- 150mm thick Timber Frame Stud Wall pumped with cellulose and wraped in 60mm air filled Styrodur insulation along with 50mm Sheeps Wool Insulation in service cavity to achieve a U Value of 0.17w/sqk. After carrying out a Condensation Risk Analysis Report we found that the frame could be at risk of moisture build-up certain times during the year so the wood fibre was left out of the service cavity in bathrooms.
- 195mm thick Cellouse Insulation in roof slopes with 60mm air filled Styrodur insulation on the outside of rafters U Value 0.15w/sqk
- Intello Air-tight membrane Airtight test achieved 0.9 air changes per hour at 50 pascals
- Heat Recovery Ventilation System
- Low Energy Timber Windows
- Air to Water Heat Pump
- Fermacell Plaster Slab finished with a breathable natural paint.
