Timber Frame

Advanced Timber Frame

The use of a timber frame structure provides the highest standard of air tightness and insulation and indeed Ventilation and Heat Recovery. Using various techniques and breathable wall buildups we can achieve u-values as low as 0.10w/m2k. A Condensation Risk Analysis Report is carried out on all our Timber Frames to ensure a safe breathable structure. We also make the frames air-tight using Intello Airtight Membrane and tapes.

Condensation Risk Analysis

With increasing levels of insulation, the use of impermeable cladding materials and new methods of construction, can often come increased risk of condensation in buildings. Condensation can give rise to a range of problems from surface staining of internal finishes to long term degradation of the structure. GreenTec Eco Homes carry out a condensation risk analysis report on every build-up we use in our dwelling houses to ensure the best possible risk free performance.
